Every project has a part I still have to learn.
A project sometimes calls for a technology I do not know yet. It used to make me uncertain; today it is the part of a project I look forward to. Every assignment teaches me something that becomes part of my craft, and that keeps the work interesting.
So whatever is new gets time. I read up on it, test it on a contained part, and only then put it to use in the project. Usually the unknown part turns out smaller than it looked at the start.

Since 2020 I have designed, built and maintained business-critical software. Since 2023 under my own name, for companies that want to bring their processes together in one system.
I learned to build software in product teams, where it is in use every day.
Since 2020 I have built web and blockchain applications at Delta, the investment app by eToro, at Experience Lab and at BallistiX.digital, with responsibility for architecture, development and delivery. In 2023 I founded my own company, centred on system integrations and web applications that the clients of a business use themselves.
Today that covers four domains: business software shaped to how a team works, automation of recurring processes, websites that turn requests into files, and documents that every recipient can verify independently.
Every project starts with an analysis in which we define together what the system has to do. After that I deliver in phases and take care of maintenance and further development. For larger projects the right people join in, and there is still one point of contact. The code and the data remain your property.
I never made my best decisions in a hurry.
In product teams I learned that work only becomes good once you understand how it runs today: who does what, which steps recur, where someone re-enters the same data every week. That research takes time, and it is the time that pays back most. What I find there decides what I build.
So I prefer to decide deliberately, and together. A choice you understand is a choice you stand behind, and months later that still shows in how a system is used.
What I deliver, I have to want to use myself. Software that works and is secure is the minimum. It also has to be pleasant to use, so that the right way of working becomes the easiest one by itself. And if something can be better than what was asked, I make it better. That is how I work, on every project.
