A price without a plan is a guess
Jerom Verschoote

There is no off-the-shelf price for custom software. That sounds evasive, until you ask a building contractor the same question: what does a house cost? Without a plan there is no honest answer.
The amount follows from the scope. What does the system have to do, which software does it have to connect with and how many people will work with it? One conversation about those questions is enough to know the size. After that you get a fixed price, and it stands before anything gets built.
I invoice monthly, as the work progresses, and the building plan divides larger projects into phases that are each usable on their own. A large investment becomes a series of manageable monthly amounts, with a moment to adjust after every phase.
For smaller work there is a day rate, without a quote or scope conversation. After delivery a system keeps having costs: hosting, updates and someone who picks up during an outage. These costs are bundled in a fixed monthly maintenance plan, so the running cost stays predictable too.
A concrete amount can only be set after a conversation about the scope. Feel free to leave a message through the website, and we will plan that first conversation with no obligation.
